A privately operated non-profit foundation dedicated to providing peer support, education, and assistance to cancer patients and survivors.
Our Mission...
• to ensure that cancer patients throughout the South Atlantic region of the U.S. who would benefit from peer support have access to the Recovery Coach program created by the American Cancer Society and WIthin Reach, or to the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery program,
• to operate the Recovery Coach program, and to expand the program's volunteer base until patients with any type of cancer can be matched with volunteers who have survived the same type of cancer,
• to develop and operate programs that provide essential services to oncology patients, including transportation to oncology appointments and provision of meals, and
• to provide an educational speaker series that examines topics of interest to cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
